Key Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant, the role will include:
- Supervising and providing targeted support for identified students in 1:1, group or whole class settings, ensuring their safety and access to learning.
- Assisting in the development of resources, schemes of work and teaching strategies, working closely with teachers to meet each student’s learning needs.
- Evaluating students’ progress through agreed assessment activities.
- Providing detailed and regular feedback to teachers on students’ achievements, progress and needs.
- Leading small group sessions and interventions as needed.
What is Required:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Educated to GCSE level with a minimum of Maths and English.
- Experience working directly with young people in an educational or training environment, supporting student learning.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience in managing and being responsible for their own workload.
